Culture Tubes
Borosil® Reusable Heavy Duty Amber Culture Tubes are constructed from low-extractable, mechanically strong borosilicate glass. Supplied with PTFE-lined Polypropylene Screw Caps, Borosil® Culture Tubes are easy to handle and seal without worrying about material compatibility. An ideal replacement for media and culture bottles, these Borosil® Culture Tubes are manufactured with round bottoms and Amber coloration for light-sensitive media.
Borosil's Amber coloration is highly durable and chemically resistant, and will not interfere with the internal chemistry of the tube due to the fact that the coloration is applied only to the exterior surface. Amber coloration is rated to protect contents from light radiation between 300mm and 500mm.
Borosil® Heavy Duty Culture Tubes with Round Bottoms are available in sizes ranging from 5mL to 150mL.
