NEW Foxx Collection Feature: CPC Aseptiquik® and MPC Connectors

NEW Foxx Collection Feature: CPC Aseptiquik® and MPC Connectors

Article Written by Isabella Granara

Foxx Life Sciences offers the EZBio® Connect Line that features bioprocess clamps, plugs, y-connectors, t-connectors, and reducers. In addition to this line, Foxx offers more components from other manufacturers, like Colder Products Company, otherwise known as CPC. CPC is the leading provider of quick disconnect couplings, fittings, and connectors for plastic tubing. Foxx Life Sciences carries the CPC MPC connectors as well as the CPC Aseptiquik® connectors in both G and S versions.

CPC’s MPC connectors ensure ease of use and security to our customers’ fluid handling applications. Customers can choose from a full line of connectors and configurations, including pressure sealing caps/plugs in a variety of sizes. The connectors guard against accidental disconnects with the locking sleeve feature. Other features include a Class VI ergonomic thumb latch and silicone O-ring. These connectors meet ACDF requirements and are CPC MPC Connector                                             robust and economical for single-use applications.

CPC Aseptiquik® Connectors, on the other hand, are a critical capability for biopharmaceutical manufacturers. They provide quick and easy sterile connections (even in non-sterile environments) while their genderless design simplifies system integration and minimizes the risk of operator error. Aseptiquik® connectors are specifically used for small-flow applications, as the flip-click-pull design enables our customers to quickly transfer small volumes of media seamlessly. Foxx Life Sciences carries CPC Aseptiquik® Connector                              CPC Aseptiquik® G and S Connectors.

The CPC Aseptiquik® S Connectors are small format connectors for 1/8th inch and 1/4th inch flow applications. G Connectors are used for 1/4th inch to 3/4th inch applications.

In the single-use bioprocessing system, sterile connections are critical. That’s why Foxx Life Sciences partners with CPC – because of their dedication to maintaining flow path sterility and integrity for our customers. Their connection solutions improve the overall functionality and design of the equipment and applications in which they are used.

Customers have the option of choosing CPC Connectors for Foxx Life Sciences’ EZBio® “Made to Order” (MTO) Single-Use Assemblies, perfect for any of our customers’ product needs! Selectable components include volume/material of bottle/carboy, brand of TPE tubing, and type/brand of fittings with males and female connectors.

Foxx Life Sciences is the only company that sells CPC connectors in smaller quantities. We know that customers may need our connectors for research and development or smaller projects, so we want to give them an affordable and reasonable option when shopping with us. We sell MPC Connectors are sold in packs of 5, 50, or 250. Aseptiquik® connectors are sold in packs of 5, 25, or 100.

*Note: CPC Connectors are not sterile themselves, but they provide a sterile connection from tube to tube. Although this is the case, gamma radiated bioprocess connectors are coming soon to the Foxx Life Sciences website.
