New Product Launch - EZBio® Made to Order Single-Use Sterile Media Bottle Assemblies

New Product Launch - EZBio® Made to Order Single-Use Sterile Media Bottle Assemblies

Configurable Single-Use Assemblies for Sterile Media Handling

The EZBio® Made to Order “MTO” Single-Use Sterile Media Bottle Assemblies from Foxx Life Sciences are designed to provide flexibility, sterility, and process control for biopharmaceutical and laboratory workflows. These assemblies allow customers to configure each component based on specific application requirements, supporting efficient fluid transfer, storage, and sampling within closed systems.

Developed for environments where contamination control and customization are critical, EZBio® MTO assemblies reduce in-house assembly time while improving consistency and reliability.

Configurable EZBio single-use sterile media bottle assembly

The EZBio® MTO Single-Use Media Bottle Assembly is a fully assembled, sterile fluid handling solution supplied ready to use. Customers can select the volume and material of the bottle, with options available in polyethylene terephthalate glycol-modified (PETG) or polycarbonate (PC), depending on clarity, strength, and application needs.

Each assembly can be configured with the preferred fittings, male and female connectors, and TPE tubing brands, allowing seamless integration into existing bioprocess setups. Assemblies also offer the option to include NovaSeal® tube separation technology for aseptic disconnection during operation.

Every finished assembly is double-bagged and gamma sterilized in the United States, ensuring sterility, traceability, and compliance with biopharmaceutical quality standards.

Standard Assembly Components

All EZBio® MTO Single-Use Media Bottle Assemblies include:

  • Bottle selected by volume and material

  • VersaCap® closure with cap adapter insert

  • Extra closed cap for secure storage

  • TPE tubing with 1/8 inch internal diameter and 1/4 inch outer diameter

  • Male and female connectors based on configuration

  • Integrated dip tube for accurate fluid draw

  • 0.22 µm vent filter for sterile air exchange

  • Ratchet-style pinch clamp for controlled flow

  • Optional NovaSeal® for aseptic tube separation

This standardized yet configurable structure ensures predictable performance while allowing customization at the component level.

NovaSeal® for Aseptic Tube Separation

In biopharmaceutical operations, separating one section of a disposable assembly from another is often required during processing. Traditional separation methods can introduce contamination risks when compartments are exposed to the environment.

The NovaSeal® system addresses this challenge by providing a metallic pinch pipe positioned on the exterior of the tubing. When crimped or cut using a plastic tool at a defined location, NovaSeal® creates a secure, sterile seal that isolates fluid within the tubing. This method ensures sterility is maintained while protecting the product from external exposure during separation.

NovaSeal® is particularly valuable in workflows where compartments must be isolated without disrupting closed-system integrity.

Key Features and Benefits:
