The Vactrap™ G Cap Assemblies are modular, interchangeable components designed to integrate seamlessly with existing Vactrap™ G vacuum trap systems. These cap assemblies provide a practical solution for building new configurations or replacing individual components while maintaining system performance and sterility.
Each assembly is supplied as a complete subassembly featuring a GL45 patented VersaCap®, tubing, and a vent filter. This standardized design ensures compatibility across a range of applications and simplifies installation without the need for additional modifications.
The Vactrap™ G Cap Assembly is a configurable cap-based subassembly developed to support sterile vacuum applications. Built around the VersaCap® GL45 open-top cap, the system enables secure sealing, controlled airflow, and reliable fluid transfer when used with glass bottles in Vactrap™ G systems.
Molded adapter inserts are specifically designed for glass bottle compatibility, while the integrated 0.2 µm PTFE vent filter allows sterile air exchange and prevents contamination of the vacuum line. Flexible tubing and a pinch clamp provide precise control over fluid movement during operation.
The modular design allows users to easily replace worn components or adapt the system to different process requirements without replacing the full vacuum trap setup.
