The EZBio® Vactrap™ S from Foxx Life Sciences is an advanced vacuum trap system designed for bioprocessing applications to protect vacuum lines, pumps, and personnel when working with hazardous liquids and biohazardous materials. It safely contains waste from processes such as supernatant removal, chemical separation, and cell or tissue culture media aspiration
The Vactrap™ S also shields vacuum systems and personnel from hazardous liquids and microorganisms, preventing contamination within the vacuum system. In bioprocessing applications, the Vactrap™ S is especially useful during the aspiration of infectious fluids.
One bottle collects the contaminated fluid, allowing decontaminant solutions to inactivate microorganisms, while the second bottle serves as an overflow vessel for added security. The hydrophobic inline filter protects both the vacuum system and personnel by preventing the spread of aerosols into the vacuum system and the environment.
