New Product - EZBio® Silicone Cap and Bottle Assembly Fluid Transfer System

New Product - EZBio® Silicone Cap and Bottle Assembly Fluid Transfer System

Introducing EZBio® Silicone Cap and Bottle Assembly Fluid Transfer System

Foxx Life Sciences is proud to introduce the newest addition to our EZBio® product line, EZBio® Silicone Cap and Bottle Assembly Fluid Transfer System. This innovative solution expands our portfolio of ready-to-use assemblies and redefines the way laboratories manage sterile fluid transfer. Designed to improve reliability, speed, and sterility, the new assemblies feature a completely over molded silicone cap adapter, delivering a seamless, joint-free design that eliminates leaks and reduces assembly time.

This product launch includes three new extensions within the EZBio® family:

  • EZBio® Bottle Assemblies with Over molded Silicone Adapter

  • EZBio®pure TR Bottle Assemblies with Over molded Silicone Adapter

  • 38-430 and GL45 Cap Assemblies with Over molded Silicone Adapter

Together, these systems provide unmatched flexibility for bioprocessing professionals working in research, process development, and manufacturing environments.

What Makes This System Different:

The EZBio® Bottle Assembly with Molded Silicone Cap Adapter is a standardized single-use assembly system designed to remove the need for in-house component sourcing, fitting, and validation. Traditional bottle assembly setups often require multiple connectors, seals, and tubing joints that introduce potential leak paths and create inconsistencies between runs. Foxx’s new over molded silicone cap design solves this challenge by integrating the adapter and tubing directly into the cap, creating a secure, sterile, and joint-free connection.

These assemblies are available in multiple bottle styles and volumes, including square bottles ranging from 60 mL to 2 L, made from either PETG or polycarbonate. Each assembly includes a preassembled VersaCap® with molded silicone adapter, high-quality tubing, male and female connectors, a dip tube, a 0.22 µm hydrophobic PTFE vent filter, and a ratchet-style pinch clamp for precise flow control.

The result is a system that arrives fully assembled, pre-validated, and ready to use, reducing setup time, lowering contamination risks, and improving process reliability from the first use.

Key Features and Benefits:

The new EZBio® assemblies are built for reliability, sterility, and convenience in demanding laboratory and cleanroom conditions.

Ready-to-Use Assembly:

Each system comes fully assembled and sterilized, eliminating the need to source, qualify, or validate individual components. This reduces preparation time and ensures consistent performance across production batches.

Over molded Silicone Cap Adapter :

The joint-free molded silicone adapter prevents leaks, removes mechanical weak points, and enhances sterility during aseptic operations. It simplifies the entire workflow by removing multiple fittings and connections.

High-Performance Tubing and Components:

All tubing materials are designed for biocompatibility, featuring extremely low levels of extractables. This ensures product safety in applications involving cell cultures, media, or therapeutic materials.

Cleanroom Manufacturing:

Every EZBio® assembly is manufactured in a certified ISO Class 7 cleanroom under strict quality systems, ensuring contamination-free production and compliance with industry standards.

Range of Bottle Sizes and Materials

Media bottles are available in five sizes, 125 mL, 250 mL, 500 mL, 1 L, and 2 L, to accommodate everything from small research volumes to large-scale production needs.

Built-In Sterile Venting and Filtration

The 0.2 µm hydrophobic PTFE filter provides sterile airflow while preventing liquid loss during agitation or spills, supporting closed-system operations in both R&D and manufacturing setups.

Optimized for Easy Handling and Sampling

Each dip tube features a precision notch for smooth fluid filling and extraction, ensuring consistent results during media preparation or sampling from bioreactors and fermenters.

Applications Across Modern Bioprocessing

The EZBio® Silicone Cap and Bottle Assembly System has been developed for a broad range of applications within the life sciences and pharmaceutical industry. It is particularly valuable for operations requiring sterile handling, secure transfer, and reduced risk of cross-contamination.

Key application areas include:

  • Bioprocessing and aseptic fluid transfer

  • Cell therapy and gene therapy manufacturing

  • Media preparation and storage

  • Sampling and transfer to bioreactors and fermenters

  • Critical liquid transfer in GMP environments

Whether used in small-scale research or large-volume production, this system supports seamless transitions between upstream and downstream processes.

Why It Matters:

In today’s bioprocessing workflows, consistency, sterility, and speed define success. Every additional fitting, clamp, or connector increases the probability of human error and mechanical failure. The EZBio® Silicone Cap and Bottle Assembly System eliminates that complexity through a fully integrated, ready-to-use design that supports both operational reliability and regulatory compliance.

With over 200 configurations available and new custom options becoming accessible within 4 to 6 weeks, customers can now tailor systems to meet specific process requirements and order directly from Foxx Life Sciences.

The EZBio® Silicone Cap and Bottle Assembly Fluid Transfer System brings together design simplicity, material excellence, and cleanroom manufacturing to deliver a solution that saves time, reduces leaks, and improves workflow consistency. Built upon Foxx Life Sciences’ proven VersaCap® platform, this new generation of single-use assemblies reinforces our commitment to developing smarter, safer, and more efficient tools for modern laboratories.
