New Product Launch - EZBio®pure Single-Use Flask

New Product Launch - EZBio®pure Single-Use Flask

Introducing EZBio®pure Single-Use Erlenmeyer Flasks: Expanding Flexibility for Modern Bioprocessing

Foxx Life Sciences has expanded its EZBio®pure product family with the introduction of EZBio®pure Single-Use Erlenmeyer Flasks in three new sizes;125 mL, 250 mL, and 500 mL. This line extension represents another step toward supporting laboratories and production facilities that demand scalable, sterile, and reliable single-use solutions. Designed for research, process development, and manufacturing, these new flasks offer greater flexibility for teams working across R&D, scale-up, and production workflows.

The new EZBio®pure Erlenmeyer Flasks are manufactured using USP Class VI polycarbonate resin, ensuring both durability and clarity in demanding applications. This material provides excellent chemical resistance and mechanical strength, while retaining optical transparency even after gamma sterilization. Each flask is molded from virgin, non-leaching resin that meets stringent FDA and USP requirements, ensuring safety and compatibility with sensitive biological materials.

The flasks are available with flat or baffled bases to meet different aeration and mixing needs. The flat base design supports gentle agitation and general liquid storage, while the baffled base enhances oxygen transfer and mixing uniformity, a critical factor in microbial and cell culture work. Every unit is compatible with standard shaker platforms and incubator clamps, allowing seamless integration into existing laboratory infrastructure.

Configurable Options to Match Every Workflow:

Recognizing that different laboratories have different requirements, Foxx Life Sciences has introduced the EZBio®pure Single-Use Flask line in multiple formats to match user preferences and workflow demands:

  • With Cap (Non-Sterile) – for general liquid handling and non-critical applications

  • With Cap (Sterile) – pre-sterilized for aseptic processes

  • Vented Cap (Sterile) – includes a 0.2 µm hydrophobic PTFE membrane for sterile gas exchange

  • Open Cap with Adapter – available in 1/8" HB to 1/4" HB configurations with 2-port and 3-port formats (non-sterile)

This level of customization ensures compatibility with a wide range of laboratory processes, from cell culture incubation and media preparation to seed flask inoculation and bioreactor sampling.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Flasks are molded from the Polycarbonate resin, which is optically clear and has excellent mechanical strength.
